I was part of the DC start up in San Antonio for Dollar General.My primary area of responsibility is the Inbound department leading a team to exceed daily as well as weekly goals and expectations. The day to day responsibilities include monitoring the checkers and put away drivers for safety, quality and production. I also supervisor other processes and functions to maintain an accurate inventory minimizing any discrepancies and to ensure vendor compliance. My other focus is on continued process improvement and employee development so as to improve the overall efficiency of our operation while being results driven.

My responsibility of the operation to the department included but not limited to, shipping and receiving, inventory control and safety training of the new hires along with equipment certification. Also led and assisted in projects that reduced selector footprint but increased pick density which in turn raised productivity and overall throughput.

Maintained the inventory integrity of the store through video monitoring and receipt verification. Also ensured customer and employee safety through daily reporting and training.
