Hi, My name is Eugene.I'm a very driven Web developer looking to expand my knowledge through personal projects and learning platforms that help me to better translate my vision into code. I started actively learning about frontend development in 2019 as I had a very keen interest in how the web works.I enjoy learning new languages such as Spanish and Serbian. This has given me an insight into learning programming languages such as JavaScript, as I feel that it is the same process in terms of actively using the language, making mistakes, and then learning from them to better understand how to express what you want to communicate whilst also greater enhancing my ability of problem-solving.Also, a benefit of learning a new language is that during the process I regularly have what is called "a language exchange". This involves a person who is a native speaker of one language and a person who is a native speaker of another, the two are able to meet and speak for a certain duration of time in either target language. This has helped me to cultivate a method of understanding and patience so that both parties can reach their desired goal. I feel that at the core of this skill which is based on communication, it is very important in a professional environment where teamwork is involved.Prior to becoming a Web developer I worked in the casino industry for over 18 years, and have accumulated a vast wealth of customer service knowledge through first-hand experiences so I believe this will help me in understanding what a customer would need in the Tech industry. I'm very open to new challenges, so I see the Tech sphere as a new frontier to further push myself.
