Eugene originally qualified as a Teacher before joining the financial services industry in 1982 becoming an Independent Financial Adviser in 1986 where he joined a National Brokerage known as Noble Lowndes as a Senior Consultant. He has spent his entire career advising Private Clients on all aspects of financial, taxation and investment planning and has held numerous qualifications across all three disciplines. Eugene is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.In 2010 Eugene started his own firm, Financial Themes LLP where he was the Managing Partner and oversaw the running of the Investment Management division as Chief Investment Officer. The firm grew over the next eight years until the firm decided to separate the investment management arm from the Financial Planning division, thereby creating a newly approved investment company known as REALM Investment Management Limited.REALM was incorporated in February 2018 and approved by the Financial Conduct Authority by May of that year. Eugene continues to act as the Chief Executive Officer for REALM and is an active member of the Investment Committee as chaired by REALM’s Chief Investment Officer, Venkat Chidambaram. Despite the challenges faced by COVID 19 REALM has grown since its inception and has been able to build a small team with considerable experience in managing global investments and guiding our private clients through challenging times.
