I am a graduate student studying chemical engineering at Columbia's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, with a focus on biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals. I recently worked as an Associate Chemist at the NYC DEP in order to learn more about and implement the city's chemical storage regulations. In my time at New York University, I've developed my leadership, problem-solving and analysis skills. I've led groups of students in experimental design and result presentation. I have worked with other students to design treatment plants to increase worker safety. My experience at the Information Technology department at the Stern School of Business has let me develop my problem-solving and troubleshooting experience within the higher education industry, which I can apply to opportunities at other companies and industries. I have a minor in computer science and am skilled in several programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++, as well as the Microsoft Office suite. I would like to pursue opportunities that would combine my expertise and interests in chemistry and computer science, and would like to apply my skills to any opportunities that I may take.
