At Deloitte's Applied Artificial Intelligence group within the Model Foundry team, I took on a leadership role, spearheading AI/ML research and development efforts tailored for the Defense, Security, and Justice sectors, particularly focusing on the Intelligence Community. My responsibilities included setting up best practices for our growing team and streamlining project management processes. Key achievements involved:- Leading an analytics project from start to finish, which involved managing schedules, delegating tasks, and resolving issues, ultimately presenting our findings to the senior management team.- Developing a sophisticated solution that employed Elasticsearch and the Universal Sentence Encoder to derive meaningful insights from large, unstructured data sets, thereby boosting our analytical capabilities.- Designing and implementing robust big data infrastructures using AWS technologies such as PostgreSQL, Athena, and EMR, which significantly enhanced our data scientists' ability to work with large volumes of data efficiently.

At Guidehouse, I focused on delivering cloud-based technical solutions that addressed both the strategic and operational challenges faced by our clients. My role involved deep collaboration with clients to precisely capture their requirements and tailor solutions that met their unique needs. Key contributions included:- Developed and implemented a topic modeling application using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), enhancing the CDC's ability to conduct in-depth analyses of extensive grantee reports.- Spearheaded the creation of a word embedding tool, leading the front-end development and engaging directly with clients through interviews to ensure the tool effectively addressed their specific challenges.- Initiated and directed a project to create a document recommendation system utilizing the Universal Sentence Encoder, significantly improving internal knowledge management and resource accessibility.- Managed a multidisciplinary team in a competitive AI/ML challenge hosted by the GSA, delivering a predictive model that assessed the compliance of software licensing agreements, showcasing our commitment to innovation in public sector engagements.
