DSO National Laboratories (DSO) is Singapore’s largest defence research and development (R&D) organisation. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, DSO provided a significant portion of Singapore's diagnostic capacity, strengthening the nation's public health.Key Accomplishments:· Actively participated in Singapore’s fight against COVID-19 by conducting PCR diagnostic testing for 180 samples per shift in Forward Deployed Labs (FDL)· Managed 12-hour shifts as team leader of 8 personnel, ensuring error free reporting to DSO HQ· Improved turnaround time from 12 hours to 8 hours by conveying team personnel feedback and suggestions to leadership team, resulting in shorter working hours

• Interdisciplinary project between School of Biological Sciences and School of Materials Science Engineering• Fabricated a novel double network hydrogel culture model by creating a collagen and alginate polymer blend• Discovered the mechanopriming effect of matrix stiffness on cancer invasion by employing novel collagen-alginate hydrogel model

· Supervised and managed 3 separate departments totalling to more than 70 personnel to organise university activities quarterly· Maximised cost efficiency for purchasing of logistics by assessing logistical vendors and sources, resulting in savings of $2000· Improved ease of logistics movement and storage by revamping the logistics storeroom layout

• Organised and executed a 4-day orientation programme for 320 freshmen • Boosted freshmen engagement in programmes by implementing new elements into orientation such as the introduction of laser tag
