Program Coordinator
CurrentThe Program Coordinator is the key leader of programs and is responsible for overseeing the administration, finances and public relations aspects of the program.● Works to ensure that all aspects of the program are implemented in accordance with SO policies, operating procedures and accepted standards of quality● Serves as primary liaison between staff and volunteers including:● Meeting with individuals, special interest groups and others on behalf of the program. ● Interfacing with a diverse community-based population, directing inquires, concerns and complaints pertaining to intellectual disabilities● Establishing program information distribution system for staff and volunteers● Ensuring that all required paperwork is submitted in a timely manner (Competition reports, grant reports, registration packets, etc.)● Conveying program concerns, issues, suggestions, etc. to staff ● Attending sponsored meetings and conferences● Working to Increase program awareness with health organizations and associations● Manages and coordinates all activities for volunteers● Facilitates, schedules and plan train-the-trainer workshops● Handles sensitive and confidential information with discretion● Works with programs to ensure financial goals are met and adhered to the program policies and guidelines● Assists in creating a balanced budget each year and helps create an adequate fundraising plan to meet financial needs● Creates, processes and follows up on expense reports, purchase orders, and budgeted purchase items● Serves as project manager for special projects, at the request of the Sr. VP, which includes planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, and coordinating direct mailings, ● Responsible for maintaining all documentation, including state-mandated paperwork● Maintains detailed calendars of appointment schedules for meetings, conferences, domestic/international travel arrangements and special events
