I had the opportunity to collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary students from different countries to design a dementia friendly environment using AI and Big Data. The project developed from understanding the problem and identifying the needs, brainstorming ideas, conducting competitor analysis and market research, writing proposal, prototyping and pitching. This is an internship position. My main tasks were to assist the DDI team in updating relevant design documents such as Bills of Material (BOM) and design risk assessment, participated in meetings across different device projects while updating meeting minutes to direct supervisor. I also organised and prepared an Excel spreadsheet that records all Pantone Code to help streamline the communication between different sites and developed an Excel programme that could calculate Delta-E which aids… Show more This is an internship position. This is an undergraduate research project which focused on the treatment of cerebral aneurysm. Some of the core tasks were to test the parameters of aneurysm flow model in laboratory such as pressure, calibrate the pressure sensor, designed and improved towards more user-friendly calibration system for the flow model and ideated better delivery system for minimally invasive treatment of cerebral aneurysm. Some of the core tasks were to test the parameters of aneurysm flow model in laboratory such as pressure, calibrate the pressure sensor, designed and improved towards more user-friendly calibration system for the flow model and ideated better delivery system for minimally invasive treatment of cerebral aneurysm. Apart from the tasks on research topic, I also worked with PhD students from other university to prepare salt samples, collect and analyze data on X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) analysis of these samples and wrote a report for that.
