• Assist the doctors and nurses with surgical procedures• Sterilize medical instruments via autoclave while testing for microbial presence• Maintain aseptic and sterile field requirements during surgical procedures• Obtain patient’s temperature, pulse, O2 stat, height and weight to determine BMI• Obtain patient’s medical health history and allergies to avoid any contraindications• Educate the patients on pre and post instructions, proper wound care, appropriate topical and oral medications, and any other questions or concerns they may have• Provide immediate first-aid for conditions such as fainting, nausea, and vomiting• Keep the medical office clean and organize• Input medical information into EMR database• Marketing and advertising duties• Calendar and schedule management among providers• Process sales and expense reports • Coordinate with vendors and pharmaceutical reps • Assist in third party supply purchasing and inventory• Achieve both short-term and long-term sales objectives• Helped organize events with pharmaceutical reps to generate sales and new product interest
