As Senior Engineer in Service Operations for EUTELSAT, I am the technology leader and global reference for Satellite Capacity related knowledge, consultancy and engineering for EUTELSAT's Control Center environment.I am ready to support any EUTELSAT team globally in questions, technical analysis or procedures - no matter if pre-sales, post-sales, planning, resource management, financial or strategical. In our Service Operations department, I support as technical most senior escalation point managers and engineers who are working in incident, problem or change management.In case of severe issues or very complicated tasks, I am leading multidisciplinary task forces globally, including courteous direct customer contact and communication. My broad basic knowledge and specialized on topic science background lets me assist in developments for process automation, disruptive procedure developments and new working methods. I am able to guide senior decision makers upon their future visions.I am assigned to lead training programs. This reaches from onboarding processes over training services requests about any technical topic in satellite communications up to most senior level technical presentations to guide managerial decision making. This includes also tasks in team management, can be done in 1-on-1 sessions or in front of a group of trainees in classrooms. The methods of knowledge passing can be very diverse and includes the production of Video material for our company's Learning Management Platform.With hands-on experience on satellite antennas since 1987, being a member of 'Satelliten Beobachter Club e.V.' since that time, I am one of the lucky persons in life who was able to develop a personal interest into a viable profession.
