Student Ambassador: During my years at Cardiff University, I have worked as a Student Ambassador, whereby I represented the School of Social Science at Open Days and Offer-Holder Days, participated in parent Q&A sessions and provided answers to any questions prospective students may have had. Student Representative: I was on the Student/Staff Panel, ensuring any feedback from peers made its way to the head of school so that improvements could be made.

University placement. My work was centered around a project which aimed to address children’s negative experiences of the disclosure process. I assisted in the dissemination of research data and the organisation of the project’s launch event. I organised multi-agency training sessions in which I verbally presented research findings to 30 industry professionals. I subsequently carried out thematic analysis of the data gathered from these sessions, transcribing data into more intelligible and interpretable formats using comprehensive Excel spreadsheets.

Sabah, Malaysia

I spent a month in Borneo with Camps International which endeavoured to help out the local communities and wildlife by improving waste disposal facilities, planting hundreds of trees and providing beach-clean-ups.
