Project: Lessons from the Field: Strategies for Effective Implementation of Climate Focused Projects and Enhancement of Nutrition Benefits". Team Leader, responsible for: Leadingteam of consultant on developing methodological approach to identify lessons learned from climate adaptation projects with a focus on nutrition and other co-benefits. Develop a Toolkit to be composed of: (I) a Teaser (to define the scope), (II) a How to Do Note, and (III) a Lessons Learned document; (iv) Conducting Peer-to-peer Knowledge sharing event. Project financed by IFAD.

A) International Accreditation Specialist and Team Leader: Strengthening the capacities of the Environmental Fund Division to serve as a key Thailand’s national mechanism for climate financeSupport the accreditation process of a national entity in Thailand. Conduct a policy assessment and compliance examination, gap analysis, and recommendations on policy revision and entry points would be within the responsibility to support potential DAE on becoming a GCF accredited entity. B) Climate and Agriculture Specialist: Supporting Sociedad San Vicente de Paul in preparing a Concept Note and a Project Preparation Facility request: Provide technical inputs for the elaboration of a GCF Concept Note that incorporates best practices and standards, compile and synthesize technical documentation for the development of the project’s climate context and lead the stakeholder mapping process incorporating good practices.C) Climate and Agriculture Specialist: Support the Formulation of a GCF Funding Proposal “Green Climate Financing Facility for Local Financial Institutions (LFIs) in Latin America": Support the project re-formulation to meet iTAP requirements and draft the Final Operations Manuals including sub-project formulation templates and prioritization criteria for sub-project assessment aligned to the GCF investment criteria.

1) Support, manage and co-ordinate the project’s safeguards to ensure the implementation of the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF), revise and update as necessary the ESMF, manage procedures including the establishment of an appropriate field structure to ensure the appropriate level of support to technical personnel; 2) Establish a Grievance Redress Mechanism and socializing the System with relevant stakeholders; 3) Oversee, monitor and report on environmental indicators in the E&S safeguards instrument; 4) Develop diverse management plans to enhance project E&S performance, including Biodiversity Action Plans Plan for Use of Security Force; Water Management Plan, others.

Honduras

• Lead CABEI´s Accreditation Process with Green Climate Fund (GCF), becoming the first Accredited Entity in Central America and fourth regional entity in Latin America.• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of fiduciary standards, E&S standards and gender inclusion, and establish a roadmap for bridging identified gaps. • Revise and coordinate the update of CABEI´s Environmental and Social Policy, E&S Strategy, E&S Management System, and the Social Responsibility Plan.• Conduct interinstitutional arrangements and logistic to develop the 1st GCF Workshop for Latin America and manage and supervise the work of external consultants

Honduras

• Perform Environmental and Social Risk Assessment, and prepare Environmental and Social Action Plans based on IFC standards for diverse public and private project/programs in Latin America with particular focus in: Renewable Energy, Agriculture, Water and Sanitation, Climate Change, Infrastructure and Financial Intermediation. • Monitor and evaluate the compliance with environmental and social covenants and stakeholder engagement.• Carry out evaluation impact assessment for diverse projects: > 40 ex-ante, mid-term and ex-post evaluations.• Support enforcement of environmental legislation of Central American countries throughout project cycle and elaborate TORs and evaluation criteria for the remediation of contaminated sites.

Honduras

• Elaborate a study plan for the implementation of a technical career of meat processing, for the National Autonomous University of Honduras.

Taiwan

• Conduct scientific research: “Ecotoxicity Assessment of Municipal Solid Waste Incineration (MSWI) Bottom-Ash Wastewater Using Plant Bioassays”.• Design, execute and monitor laboratory/field projects: bioassays, phytotoxicity trials and wastewater remediation.• Elaborate BIOCHAR assays for agricultural purposes and environmental investigation.• Prepare and execute training and workshops for lab technicians and classmates.

Honduras

• Promote and monitor the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices.• Develop, implement and monitor agricultural trials for the adoption of sustainable practices.• Provide technical assistance and promote technology transfer for the production of guava, papaya and asian vegetables for export.
