After graduated a Bachelor degree in forestry at the Faculty of Forest Science; majoring in Wood Technology and Forest Economics at the National University of Laos (NUOL) in 2014. I was assigned to work for the lecturer's assistant as volunteer role in wood science at the Faculty of Forest Science, the Department of Forest Economics and Wood Technology. At the same time, I was also involved with two International Projects that have collaborated with Faculty of Forest Science, NUOL. Enhancing key elements of the value chains for plantation-grown wood in Lao PDR (VALTIP2), and Improving plantation policy in Lao and Vietnam both of them funded by the Australian government. My roles in within the projects are conducting several researches and data analysis with international experts, with some works were published. Most of my works would focused on improving Lao planation timber quality based on Acacia, Eucalyptus, Teak and Rubber into adapted modern technology of using small logs dimension during 2014-2019. A part of it, my volunteer works are linked with establish timber research center and wood testing materials, handouts; assisting students with their final thesis experiments by guiding them to research guidelines, (2014-2023)I am committed to a profitable wood industry based on plantation-grown timber produced sustainably and legally and aligned with Lao policies and a clear vision for the future. With relevant professional experience and graduate and post-graduate training, I am well-placed to embrace this new era of forest management based on sound environmental, social and environmental principles.Now, I have been working under the UN-REDD program based in FAO''s office, Vientiane capital, Lao PDR on assisting the Laos government in technical support for accessing to Result Based Finance (RBF) for forest carbon, and supporting on various standards on carbon accounting such as ART/TREE, VERRA and so on. In addition, I am responsible for supporting a series of exchange about Payment of Environment Services/Payment for Ecological Services (PES) between Lao PDR and Vietnam.
