I secured sponsors for a large scale theatre show and project managed a theatre company ensuring the production (per location) was delivered on budget and schedule. Set across 12 locations in Berlin, it was the most ambitious immersive show I've worked on and a huge lesson in logistics and comms. Learnt fluent German and I got to produce for companies like Gob Squad, Rimini Protokoll and She She Pop.

Graduates of the course have set up their own companies and got hired by the likes of Donmar Warehouse, Old Vic Theatre and the Royal Academy of the Arts. I led co-led a design innovation project with a team of designers to reduce ATM crime in London. This was a series of workshops and research using theatre techniques that led to new, extremely user-centered designs and UX of cash machines. During this time, I co-wrote the now published research article for the Design & Culture Journal – on how 'thinking thief' can effectively design against crime. This taught me how much value theatre techniques can bring to designing breakthrough products.
