Eva / Pronounced (Eh-Vah). I believe the hallmark of an HR professional is exposure to different industries, functions, and perspectives, to be able to address the depth of issues that arise in workplaces. I used to be afraid of my non-linear career path, thinking most employers would view it as unfocused, but on the contrary, I can simply fit into so many spaces, learn quickly, and rapidly align to the point of promotion. I’ve got my eyes on the prize to give employees a safe space, implement meaningful training that helps them comply with policies and procedures, and keep operations compliant and thriving. When people have a sense of safety with their HR partners, they will confide, and that allows for healthier workplace environments. One of my core strengths is translating business jargon to lay people…having needed to do this within the insurance industry converting treatment codes to patient claims. I have pursued intense training and preparation to be in position to serve on day #1.A personal note: I am a huge health advocate. I love to cook and try new recipes from all over the world. I have a mild comprehension of the Spanish language through my immersive, study abroad experience. I had the opportunity to enjoy the food, the history, the language, the people, and the celebrations of the Spanish culture. I am open to connecting and I look forward to serving organizations who care about their people as much as their business. – Eva Maria BaileyHR SKILL AREAS:People Advocacy ➨ Served people in multiple capacities at Ohio University.
