• Analyze daily firm VaR, perform trend analysis, and assess top firm, account, and instrument contribution to determine methods to reduce firm capital requirements, to ease firm financing obligations.
• Manage collateralized lending and mitigate exposures including liquidity, concentration, and collateral quality.
• Utilize Bloomberg for research to perform security and collateral analysis on current and incoming clientele, completing due diligence requests for leverage on irregular and foreign instruments and portfolios.
• Manage real-time, intra-day risk applications, utilizing stress-test models to quantify client market risk.
• Monitor P&L focusing on high-frequency, black-box, enhanced leverage, and complex option strategy trading.
• Maintained pipeline of incoming clientele for Executive Due Diligence meetings, analyzing financial statements and counterparty credit risk, forecasting revenue, and determining suitability for privileged client.

• Authorize and supervise account liquidation, enforcement of trading restrictions and/or account closure for noncompliant clients per FINRA & SEC regulations, while preserving broker/client relations.
• Manage team member/broker concerns and various ad hoc requests demanding immediate resolution.
• Create and analyze integrated risk assessment reports utilized daily by senior management and various operational departments prior to market open.
• Manage broker/client requests for asset movements in excess of $10MM daily.
• Serve as primary support to the Director of Portfolio Margin, a new enhanced leverage product at the firm.
• Responsible for training employees in all aspects of margins knowledge.

• Prioritize broker issues including margin deficiencies & buying power increases for brokerage clients; requiring immediate resolution within an hourly deadline schedule, while also managing ad hoc client requests.
• Perform maintenance with delinquent accounts regarding noncompliance issues per FINRA and SEC regulations including: liquidating positions to cover past due margin calls, restricting trading, and account closure.
• Analyze broker requests for all ACH, check, and wire disbursements in excess of ten million dollars daily.

• Review client books, prepare working papers/documentation.
• Analyze client reports through QuickBooks and PeachTree.
• Prepare and post journal entries and adjustments.
• Prepare financial statements using Certiflex.

• Examine, enter, and post journal entries, credit card deposits, petty cash vouchers, and banking deposits using PeopleSoft Programs.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain records.
