Hello! I’m Evan Davis, an open-minded individual who loves solving problems. Growing up, I was always the child who asked questions as to why things work the way they do. Taking that extra step to not only understand what I was doing but understanding why it worked the way it worked developed my curiosity and admiration for problem solvers. I’m the type of person who’s going to solve the problem in front of him no matter the amount of work needed to solve it.My greatest strength is my willingness to learn. I’m always ready to learn new concepts or new techniques, especially in the job field. Many engineers told me that you’ll never stop learning on the job, and that’s one of the many upsides in the engineering career field for me. I graduated from University High School in Waco, TX. It was there that I discovered engineering. At University, we had different academies that were supposed to introduce you to different career options. Choosing the Academy of Engineering introduced me to concepts I found very interesting. From applied mathematics to programming and constructing different components, I knew that engineering was the career field I wanted to pursue. After graduating from high school in June 2018, I began attending the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas to attain my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. My estimated graduation date is June 2022. After graduation, I plan on pursuing an Electrical Engineering career relating to aircraft manufacturing. There are so many components that go into crafting an airplane and configuring the electrical systems for these systems interests me. This idea of being a part of this process is exciting.
