I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science and School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego, where I study International Relations and Political Methodology. I previously studied at Georgetown University, where I earned a masters degree with High Honors in Democracy and Governance from the Department of Government. My undergraduate degree is from the University of California, San Diego, where I graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Political Science/International Relations. I also graduated with High Honors from the Political Science Department and earned a minor in Human Rights. My current research interests lie in the intersection between international relations and emerging technology, with particular emphasis on democratic backsliding, human rights, and international security. The majority of my work utilizes quantitative research methods in R or Stata, and I have experience with formal game-theoretic models and mixed methods.
