Currently working to increase access to the outdoors through community and convenience while reducing consumption and waste. I left Blue Origin in 2020 to start a company focused on putting a damper on climate change using economics. Kotoo provides customized advice on how users can reduce their footprint, dis-incentivizes fossil fuel power generation, and generates demand for economics of supply and demand for carbon neutral products. https://www.kotoo.earthPrior to starting Kotoo, I worked in the Turbomachinery and Injector Design and Development Groups for 5 years, bringing BE-4 (World's First large scale, reusable, methane rocket engine, United States' first booster class oxidizer rich staged combustion engine) from concept to 100% power. I specialized in analyzing data: both manually and using machine learning. I have additional experience in both rocket engine injector design, failure analyses, and aerospace component design and development. I served these roles both as an individual contributor and also while leading teams of engineers through technical development.I graduated from Purdue University in August 2014 with an M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics focusing in Propulsion while at Zucrow Laboratories. In my thesis, I used design of experiments and knowledge of traditional rocket injector design techniques to optimize test matrices and improve performance prediction from minimal testing. I have experience building, operating, and maintaining cryogenic and gaseous test stands gaining experience across all phases of advanced technical development.
