My background is routed in the physical sciences, specifically atmospheric sciences. My early research focused on urban heat islands, as well as climate trends and climate datasets. Postdoctoral research focused on working with state agencies to better understand the important linkages with weather/climate. Research since my postdoc has focused on air quality and seasonal forecasting of climate indices. Other recent research endeavors include consulting small businesses in regards to short- and long-term climate impacts. Additionally, I am working between atmospheric science college students and businesses looking for climate information.
