“We do hard things because they’re hard” - Coach Wachtel, Westfield Cross Country I'm an accounting major here at IU where I showcase my drive, resilience, and opportunistic attitude on a daily basis. Opportunistic: During my freshman year I made the spontaneous decision to join the Capital Markets Club as a Venture Capital Analyst. This opportunity was presented to me and I knew I had to partake in it. Here, I write sector reports for industries that have potential promising startups and build financial models such as DCFs, Operational Models, and LBOs. Driven: I'm also very driven when it comes to my own personal endeavors because I co-own a company with a friend back at home. We had the drive to implement a plan, execute that plan, and then reap the rewards. Resilience: I'm also a runner, and ran Cross Country and Track in high school. There I learned to be resilient in any physical task and to always get my work done, no matter the pain or stress involved. I can apply that to mental tasks as well and not give up when facing adversity in whatever future tasks I face as future finance professional.
