I am also exploring the use of co-processors in our work (GPU, CellBe etc).I am currently leading the re-architecture of our film production software so that it can better take advantage of multi-core, many-core as well as distributed systems. We aim to deliver much better utilization of a single machine or hardware part and we also aim to deliver highly scalable software to enable the use of multiple machines in order to deliver interactive turn-around times for artists.Also of note, I was the Principal Investigator for DreamWorks Animation's multi-year Department of Energy Incite Project: "Real-Time Ray-Tracing".
