As I’m nearing the completion of my undergraduate degree, I find myself seeking development opportunities. My natural strengths are being personable, authentic, and empathetic, which allows me to create connections with others to establish meaningful rapport. Years playing at a high-level of baseball, a journey that included three years at the collegiate level with Brock University, taught me to recognize my strengths and the value and contribution they brought to the team. Furthermore, the sport also taught me the importance of recognizing and fitting into the culture of the team. To start my professional journey in the world of sports, I had the privilege of working within the Toronto Blue Jays organization, where I was a member of the Marketing Activations Team. This role proved to be the perfect fit, utilizing my passion for sports to create memorable experiences for the fans. It became apparent to me that I excelled in connecting with people and delivering exceptional customer experiences, an aptitude that I anticipate bringing in my future projects.  Diving further into the world of hospitality, my journey led me to the role of Wine Associate at Château Des Charmes during the summer of 2023. It was a dynamic, fast-paced environment where being adaptable and personable was key. Furthermore, I learned the importance to not only establish personal connections with customers but also with my teammates and peers. This led us to work as a cohesive unit, prioritizing the needs of our guests, giving them "experience-based" interactions. This past summer, I had the opportunity to work as a Partnerships Intern with Golf Canada. The experience taught me the importance of teamwork and strengthened my work ethic. Working long hours alongside dedicated colleagues showed me the value of collaboration and commitment. As I head on the next phase of my professional journey, I carry with me a wealth of experiences and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. I am excited to continue building meaningful connections, creating memorable moments, and contributing my unique skills to future projects and opportunities in the dynamic worlds of sports and hospitality.
