The US Listed Options Trade Support group covers all OCC cleared exchanges for both equity and index options. My team supports the equity derivatives voice trading desk in New York, assists in coverage for the London trading desk, and supports the MSET (Electronic Trading) business. Our primary functions include trade allocation, client on-boarding, break resolution, managing corporate action risk, and trade bookings for clearing only business. On a typical day, I liaise with clients, sales/trading, client service, the options reconciliation team, and many other stakeholders to ensure trades are properly processed from the point of execution to settlement. My teams primary role is to support the trading desk and be available to Morgan Stanley's institutional clients with any inquiries.
