As a Business Development Specialist at DreamFactory, my main objective is to assist potential clients in realizing that DreamFactory is— or is not— a viable solution for their data project. After qualifying them, I connect them to a DreamFactory success engineer who can further demonstrate DreamFactory's effectiveness.Daily tasks include—- Routine outreach via email and phone to inbound leads who begin free trials of DreamFactory's platform. (Regularly meet the standard put in place by DreamFactory of reaching out to trial users within 5 minutes of trial creation)- In-depth analysis of leads' use cases in order to identify any data challenges that would warrant the use of DreamFactory.- Outreach to outbound leads who fit the qualifications of a company that would benefit from DreamFactory's offerings.- Manning DreamFactory's website chat and having real-time conversations with visitors interested in learning more about the platform. (Regularly maintain an average response time of under one minute)- Booking consultation sessions for potential clients after successfully qualifying them as being in need of the platform.- Stringent organization of leads using my advanced knowledge of the CRM platform Pipedrive.Less frequent tasks include—- Revision of hosted trial email campaigns in the pursuit of creating fresh, intentional, and effective language for both inbound and outbound lead outreach.- Call and email blitzes to hundreds of leads within the company CRM who have not been contacted for an extended period of time and are due for a follow-up.- Email blitzes to hundreds of leads— who are either longtime or recent users of DreamFactory's free open source offering— in order to assess whether or not they will be better suited by the full version of the platform.As of November 2021, leads that I was directly involved with— who eventually went on to become paying clients with DreamFactory— resulted in over $400,000 in revenue for the company.

Praxis is a college alternative program that equips young professionals with the fundamental hard and soft skills necessary to kickstart a successful career in business. After 6 months of professional bootcamp training, participants are matched with a fast-growing business in a paid apprenticeship role.Daily tasks included:- Performed routine outreach to individuals who have started the Praxis application process but did not yet submit it, or individuals who did not yet begin the application process but had inquired about the Praxis program via call, text, or email.- Had qualifying conversations (known as Info Calls) with potential applicants in order to help determine whether or not the Praxis program was a viable next step for their career aspirations. Each conversation was an opportunity for me to learn more about the individual, make a meaningful connection with them, and give helpful advice on how to move forward toward a business career they could be passionate about.- Maintained consistent outreach via email, text, or call to continue establishing rapport with any potential applicant with whom I had made contact.
