My journey as an engineering manager began with the infrastructure platform and development tools team, where I had previously been a developer for more than 3 years. From the beginning, I was focused on building an united and autonomous team that felt responsible for the success of the area and the company.Some time later I took over other teams:- Data platform team, responsible for creating our data warehouse, but also planning and implementing tools to facilitate the use of data in other parts of the product.- Main product development team, responsible for the analysis parts within the product.

Still on the infrastructure platform and development tools team, I worked on some projects aiming to make Cobli join Dora's elite performance group:- Movement to change instrumentation technologies.- Using containers instead of virtual machines.- Adoption of automatic creation of images on the development pipeline, reaching continuous delivery (CD).- Defining and building golden paths.At that time I had contact with the following technologies (non-exhaustive list):- Sbt- Scala- Flink- Kubernetes- Helm- Npm private registry- AWS ECR- Terraform- ScyllaDB- CircileCI- Datadog

I joined the company when the infrastructure and development tools team for the engineering area was being created.Since the company develops a product that can be classified as a "software as a service" (SaaS), this area is of great importance for the business.From the beginning we adopted devops practices and built our work environments as much as possible using "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC). Trying to create a culture of "you build it, you run it" but with all hands on deck during serious incidents.During this period I had contact with some technologies in the area, such as (non-exhaustive list):- Ansible- Cloudformation with Troposphere- Cassandra DB- Kafka- Zookeeper- TravisCI- Riemann (monitoring)- Cloud Elements (AWS)- Virtual machinesMore important than the tools, I had the opportunity to experience an agile development environment, with a lot of autonomy and collaboration between teams.

During this period of work, the following tasks were carried out:- Design of the information flow diagram of some web platform applications;- Programming platform templates;- Programming of some platform applications.

During this internship, the following tasks were carried out:- Study on services required to implement the new web platform;- Implementation of basic services for the company's main server. e.g.: email server, web server, database and web development framework;- Programming the first templates for the web platform.

This laboratory at the USP Mathematics and Statistics Institute serves postgraduate students in the applied mathematics department. During this internship, the following tasks were carried out:- User support;- Planning and implementation of a new network for the laboratory.

This laboratory at the USP Mathematics and Statistics Institute serves undergraduate students from all departments. During this internship the following tasks were carried out:- User support;- Maintenance of network services;- Maintenance of network equipment;- Tests with new software and systems - Adoption of new services to be incorporated into the network.

This laboratory was headed by Doctor, Post-Doctorate and professor Marcos Duarte. He mainly carried out research related to human movement. However, during my period of work, the research I was involved in was related to the Ethos-Cebus project.Title of initiation research: 'Kinematic analysis of bipedal movements of capuchin monkeys (Cebus libidinosus)'
