MARTIAN ROVER TERRAIN CLASSIFICATION PROJECT:- Analyzed images of Martian terrain to collectively improve navigation of NASA’s Mars rovers. - Labeled images that were taken by the Curiosity Rover, collectively contributing to improving the first open-source navigation-classification dataset of Mars. - Analyzed photos of various terrains on Mars and labeled the photos as having flat terrain, gravel, or large boulders or rocks. - The information will be used by teams to train rovers to understand Martian environments and enable them to last longer in navigating unpredictable terrain. GALAXY CLASSIFICATION PROJECT:- Classified telescope images from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope of galaxies and newly discovered exoplanets.- Classified images according to their shapes after completing a tutorial. Identified if the galaxy was a spiral, elliptical, disc-shaped, or irregular so researchers can understand information about their structure, evolution, and interactions.
