- Disassembled 50+ computers and laptops that were donated- Organized each of the parts, sold to raise funds for the organization- Learned how to assemble laptops, including testing the hardware, replacing memory and a broken battery. - The organization sells these refurbished computers at a very low cost to families in need.- The work I do as a volunteer enables them to achieve their mission of reducing digital inequity by providing greater access to computers which increases equity in education. - This work also enables me to increase my understanding of how computers work and how to build them which is related to my goal of studying and pursuing a career in a field related to computers and technology.

- Implemented an effective screen monitoring system on 30+ computers - significantly improved administration / management process of student activity, ensured student compliance with school policies- Bolstered security by blocking 30+ unapproved websites. Set up a strong password system on all computers that prevented unauthorized software downloads- Updated crucial software on 30+ computers remotely through the Veyon screen monitoring system to prepare the company for summer camps- Installed a security system throughout the school, demonstrating resourcefulness and attention to detail in setting up cameras and connecting them to management devices for remote access.- Analyzed legacy laptops to understand if they can still be used, reformatting them, and installing necessary software to make them usable for students, demonstrating troubleshooting and refurbishing skills.- Created a sophisticated spreadsheet with efficient tools to track headcount of enrolled students for each summer camp, providing the means to easily analyze, sort, and track important data, demonstrating organizational and data management abilities.

- Completed 27 hours of volunteer work. - Organized photos within a database and decided which photos to edit and how to edit them to ensure that the people in the photos were well-lit, clearly visible, vibrant, and correctly cropped. - Utilized technical and creative skills to edit and catalog photos using Adobe Photoshop. Learned this tool through tutorials and self-learning. - The photos were used in the organization’s newsletter, articles, and mail correspondence. This was used to inform people about the organization’s purpose and mission and to encourage donations which would enable them to continue their important work.The goal of Mary's Missionaries is for representatives of the organization to travel to Africa and Central America to support families affected by war, poverty, and disability. - Completed 40 hours of volunteer work. MARTIAN ROVER TERRAIN CLASSIFICATION PROJECT:- Analyzed images of Martian terrain to collectively improve navigation of NASA’s Mars rovers. - Labeled images that were taken by the Curiosity Rover, collectively contributing to improving the first open-source navigation-classification dataset of Mars. - Analyzed photos of various terrains on Mars and labeled the photos as having flat terrain, gravel, or large boulders or rocks. - The information will be used by teams to train rovers to understand Martian environments and enable them to last longer in navigating unpredictable terrain. GALAXY CLASSIFICATION PROJECT:- Classified telescope images from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope of galaxies and newly discovered exoplanets.- Classified images according to their shapes after completing a tutorial. Identified if the galaxy was a spiral, elliptical, disc-shaped, or irregular so researchers can understand information about their structure, evolution, and interactions.
