Fill in on sales routes when the regular sales representative takes time off. Develop relationships with the managers on the routes that I am specified to cover. Communicate with managers about building promotional or new product displays.Create orders to fill the shelf and whatever is needed for back stock to keep the shelves full until the next delivery, order kegs for the store or a special order from a customer. Work through back stock and orders to fill the cooler. Order for, build , remove and rotate displays in the store. Communicate with merchandisers who work some of the stores on the route with what they will need to know when they get to the store as well as develop relationships with them if they are one of my merchandisers when I have my own route.When not filling in, ride with sales representatives to familiarize my self with the route and learn how the sales representative has been ordering for the store. I also help the sales representative work through back stock and orders to allow him time to swap or repack damaged product or build displays. Working as a team, we are able to take a little more time to be able to check and rotate product dates.

Orders that arrive at each store are upwards of 500-700 cases during the peak summer months. For 2015, we are on paced to move between 227,000-230,000 cases of product. To help the salesman make his orders, I make sure product is either organized by product type and flavor or by product family.
