Evan Lerner is an Emmy nominated executive producer, former network executive and showrunner with extensive experience in both development and producing non-fiction TV series. He has built a reputation on delivering premium content on both the production and network sides of unscripted television. Evan was named Head of Development and Production at MY Entertainment shortly after the company's acquisition by Media Content Services in 2022. In this role, he spearheads the production company’s development team and creative strategy. In 2019 Evan joined Jigsaw Productions as Senior Creative Executive. At Jigsaw he oversees a number of documentary series for premium cable networks and streaming platforms. In this role, he collaborates with a diverse group of documentary directors, journalists, writers and producers. Prior to Jigsaw Evan was Director of Development and Current programming at A&E. While at A&E, he developed and launched over 20 series across multiple genres. Previously, Evan was a part of the team at The Sundance Channel that led the network into premium unscripted television, overseeing the production and launch of multiple new series.Evan spent seven years as a producer at BBC Worldwide. During this time, he was the showrunner for "What Not to Wear" on TLC. Hired as an associate producer on the production, he was eventually promoted to Co-Executive Producer and showrunner, helming over 50 episodes of the long running style makeover series. Evan’s first job in television was developing two unscripted series about the boxing world for former HBO executive and veteran boxing promoter Lou Dibella and Martha Stewart executive producer, Brook Altman.
