Responsible for the day to day management of an existing commercial loan portfolio with outstanding balances exceeding $100M with target credit sizes of $1MM to $20MM+ operated out of a commercial loan production office in downtown Charlottesville, VA. Credit make up was primarily IRE with some operating companies. Responsible for the oversight and workflow management of the preparation of credit packages and worked directly with commercial credit staff to ensure timely delivery of loan packages to committee to meet both customer and internal time constraints. Presented loan packages to the aforementioned committees as needed and was responsible for evaluation/critique of loan packages to ensure that data was presented in an accurate and fair manner. Managed and monitored portfolio for upcoming maturities and continually gathered and monitored portfolio to ensure that financials were delivered within covenants and in a timely manner. Awarded the 2014 President's Award along with Market Executive/Team Leader. Worked with customers and other team members on a daily basis to ensure that office/pipeline/portfolio were all managed in an efficient and effective manner.

Achieved loan growth of approximately 25% in 2013 and was recognized by senior management as being among the top performers within the commercial lending department. Met and exceeded all production and portfolio management goals. Managed troubled pre-existing assets and maintained 0% charge offs during my tenure.

Responsible for underwriting credits ranging in size from $500K to $8MM with C&I, CRE, and IRE customers being analyzed. Responsible for onboarding and training of new analysts. Acted as Chairman of Bank's Classified Assets Committee which was charged with maintaining minimal charge offs throughout the economic downturn. Responsible for the preparation of a number of Board of Directors level reports.
