Contributing to the design and development of large-scale ovens tailored for schools and businesses in underserved communities, particularly in Botswana. Awarded an Undergraduate Student Research Internship grant from Western University and the Faculty of Engineering. Working with Dr. Xu's Industrial Bioproduct Laboratory, focusing on a project using a reactor to perform Hydrothermal Liquefaction on samples utilizing different mixtures and temperatures in order to improve the efficacy. Assisted with the publication of a research paper that utilized my research from the summer.
