I have most recently worked as Field Support Coordinator at Cruise, a company innovating autonomous vehicle (AV) technology. I joined Cruise as a full-time employee in 2022 after three years of contract work in its supervised R&D operations. I have a BA in Sociology from San Francisco State University, where I achieved departmental honors for academic excellence. I have a background in language teaching and sociological analysis, which inform my commitment to communicative work relationships that emphasize collaboration and rapport.My most recent work involved working cross-functionally to innovate, improve, and execute best practices for in-field support operations during Cruise's initial period of scaling in the San Francisco market. My primary focus was to manage vehicle recovery events (VREs) and the contingent workers that responded to them. I also oversaw broader fleet & garage operations, safety compliance, incident response, troubleshooting, and technical writing. I earned a White Belt in Lean Six Sigma practices to support process improvement in my role.I am passionate about being a good steward of the world and am a lifelong learner seeking truth and understanding. I am conversational in Spanish and French, and I love cooking & baking. I am a strong supporter of accessibility in regards to transit, mobility, and personal autonomy in order to unleash the potential and power from marginalized groups.
