Responsible for overall leadership, strategic direction and management of the Professional Services organization. This includes the following:• Directly supervises consultants/project managers.• Assist in implementation/consulting projects as needed.• Lead client implementation/consulting services delivery, providing management and oversight of implementation projects and staffing including project assignments, capacity planning and project profitability.• Manages and maintains reporting on capacity, amount of implementation work, and future outlook in order to advise strategic direction setting.• Services as core member of the upper management team. In this capacity, provides management with regular project updates; services as critical adviser to the team as an implementation leader and helps to set the direction for the implementation and professional services team, with a special emphasis on how and what we implement.• Conducts employee performance reviews/evaluations and career development discussions.• Ensures training of new staff.• Provides ongoing coaching to develop and enhance the performance and skills of team members.• Participates in the interviewing, selecting, hiring and firing of employees.• Assists with implementation plans and modifying when necessary to include agreed revisions to project scope.• Responsible for creation and modification of Statements of Work (SOW) with clients.• Leads/facilitates internal meetings as well as client meetings in support of implementation and sales.• Oversee and execute process improvements and the development of policies, procedures, methods, and tools in support of delivery.• Supports pre-sales processes and working with sales and account management professionals to win new business.
