I am a creative web developer and aspiring UI/UX designer. I am not a traditional programmer since I majored in Business Administration (MIS) at USC and started my career doing pre-sales for Oracle. However, I really enjoy working with technology and the challenges of figuring out something new, so I was drawn to software development. Mostly, I enjoy the creative process and I put a lot of emphasis on design.I have also worked with many different technologies instead of specializing in any specific product or technology stack. We are in the process of converting classic ASP to C# .Net using Razor views and eventually MVC. I have been focused on our UI & UX design and I was the lead developer responsible for converting the online system to a responsive design using Foundation 5 and the POS/Kiosk system using Bootstrap 4.Our FBR system uses AngularJS and we also maintain a few Android applications as well as other web services for printing, credit card processing, etc so I’ve had to jump into these projects as needed.We are a small team without any pre-defined roles, so it’s not uncommon for us to switch between multiple systems and different technologies throughout the day.

I created an interface of over 200 data elements in the first month of the acquisition. The interface grew and was refined over the past two years and was the foundation for an automated process. I completed all of the automation procedures which synchronized data differences and also created newly hired employees in the HRMS system for AD and Oracle provisioning. The interface and automation ran daily and processed thousands of records with minimal intervention. -

I rewrote the system (classic ASP to ASP.Net) and modernized the UI by using the latest web technologies (Web Services, AJAX, jQuery, CSS3, etc.). This also required me to rewrite most of the Oracle database objects to perform much more efficiently and to handle more complex requirements. I also created and maintained many data interfaces with internal systems (Oracle Financials, Siebel, ADP & Active Directory) as well as external vendors (Cigna, TALX, OC Tanner, BNY Mellon/Anthem & ADP).My other main project was an enterprise wide Employee Self Service (ESS) application using ASP.Net AJAX on Oracle that I created completely by myself. It was responsible for many employee activities including recording time off, acknowledgement of Code of Conduct, Sales Certifications, etc. which was all integrated with the HRMS system. I also created a Manager Self Service (MSS) extension that allowed managers to view their employee data and run various reports (head count, compensation, time off, etc.). -
