I chose to study law because through advocacy, social change is possible, and law is one of the most powerful mechanisms to create large and small-scale social improvements. As a Legal Clerk, I have developed my understanding of substantive law. I am learning practical lawyering skills, gaining an insight into the operation of the law and legal institutions, and I now have a deeper appreciation for legal advocacy.I have experience conducting legal research, drafting motions and briefs, summarizing deposition transcripts, and managing deadlines for a large caseload.Before beginning my legal journey, I worked as a marketing manager for 12 years, where I created and managed large marketing/branding campaigns for various companies.
