£420m mixed-use residential development located in Westminster, London. The project consists of six buildings ranging between 13 and 19 stories tall. The development houses 268 luxury apartments as well as 25,000 square feet of commercial space.I was part of the façade team for this project, undertaking tasks such as procurement of the roofing Subcontract and management of various other Subcontracts relating to the facade.

Langley Park Hotel Project is the restoration and extension of a Grade II listed house to provide a new boutique 5 star hotel and spa facility.My responsibilities include:- Management of Subcontractors & Suppliers including assessing and processing monthly payments, rate reviews/agreeing revised rates where applicable, ensuring maintenance of strong relationships during delivery period (focus on win/win outcomes)- Subcontract packages include joinery, painting & decorating, logistics, steel fabrications – total of 9 packages worth £10m - Change Management, including the assessment and agreement of variations, contra-charges and extension of time claims - Compilation and negotiation of final accounts

One Blackfriars is a £145m landmark mixed-use development in London. At the development’s centre is a 170m, 50 storey tower, a new icon for the capital’s skyline an a vibrant new place on London’s South Bank.My responsibilities included:- Change management relating to £45m façade Subcontract, specifically the compilation of formal communications relating to historical disputed items and variations- Internal Reporting of the status of the Account and differences between Multiplex & Subcontractor across Variations & Claims- Management of Subcontractors & Suppliers ancillary to the façade Subcontract, including assessing and processing monthly payments, rate reviews/agreeing revised rates where applicable, ensuring maintenance of strong relationships during delivery period (focus on win/win outcomes)

The Ed15on Alliance, which consists of UK Power Networks and Clancy Docwra, Amec Foster Wheeler, McNicholas and Morrison Utility Services have been chosen to work on refurbishing and upgrading electricity substations, cable and power lines across London and the South East of England.Within the Ed15on Alliance, I was responsible for two Civil projects in South West London worth approximately £8m. NEC3 Option C Contract, Alliance. My responsibilities included: - Monthly Applications for Payment to Client - Forecast cost to completion (updated monthly)- Procurement of Subcontracts, including development of Scope and compiling NEC3 Short Form Subcontract documents - Internal Reporting of Cost & Progress within Clancy Docwra Ltd - Subcontract Management, including assessing and processing monthly payments, rate reviews/agreeing revised rates where applicable, ensuring maintenance of strong relationships during delivery period (focus on win/win outcomes)- Change Management, including submission of Early Warnings, Notice of Compensation Events, and pricing quotations. Negotiation with the Client to agree Compensation Events & Quotations.

CVU is a Joint Venture (JV) between Colas, VolkerHighways and AECOM that has forged together the complementary strengths of three companies. CVU have a history and pedigree renowned for excellence in highways operation, highways maintenance and highways improvement around the world and the UK, particularly in London.As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with CVU, I had ownership of over 100 task orders within various schemes (Footways, Bus Priority, Cycle Grid). These task orders are at preliminary, design, or build stages, and my responsibilities include: - Monthly Cost/Value Reporting (CVR)- Application to the client- Subcontractor management including issuing task orders, assessing claims and compensation events, negotiating rates where required.- Preparation of BoQs for fee estimates, remeasures and compensation events. Inclued interaction with CVU build and design teams to gather information, site visits to collect measures and client meetings when negotiation or discussion is required. - Compiling and submitting contractual communications to the client such as Early Warnings and Notices of Compensation Events.

Leighton Contractors (now named CBP) are a Tier One Construction Company with projects in Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea, and form part of the international group, Leighton Holdings (now named CIMIC).Leighton Contractor's scope on the APLNG Gas Gathering Project for Phase 1 included the delivery of 600 wells and 2000km of pipeline in Central Queensland. As part of the site-based Commercial team, my responsibilities included: - Ownership of facilities subcontract with Leighton Services for 500 room camp, including attending weekly review meetings, bi-weekly 'walk throughs' and addressing ad hoc issues arising regarding the facilities. Ownership of 30+ Subcontracts, including but not limited to, the following activities: - Reviewing payment claims with reference to the Contract, disputing any items which are not applicable under the Contract. - Creating Variations for items not included in the original Contract, i.e. for materials or services not included in the original scope. - Administration of payment claims, including ensuring accuracy of information entered into financial system (Oracle) and reconciliation of paper dockets within that system and facilitating payment of Subcontractor claims once appropriate checks have been completed - Liasing with wider team on issues relating to Subcontractors and contractual rights and responsibilities

As a Systems and Product Specialist with Creative Holidays, my responsibilities included: - Hiring new employees and delivering intensive three week training courses for up to ten employees. Training sessions covered travel booking systems, product and destination knowledge for 60 countries, sales techniques and customer service. - Ongoing coaching and mentoring of 60 reservations staff, ranging from on-the-spot support to formal training sessions. - Identifying and training staff members with strong technical/product skills to join or assist our team of specialists, and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring. - Rolling out new processes and procedures to the Reservations team, including development, communication through training sessions or email, updating written processes and ongoing monitoring and enforcement. - Providing advice to management teams on product and technical matters and assisting with decision making. - Providing win-win solutions on problem bookings, through negotiation between travel agents, hotels and airlines. - An integral part of a wider team of 200+, interfacing between the Reservations, Product, Air Product, Customer Service, Accounting, Sales and Management teams.
