As a part of the Enterprise Shared Services Mission Assurance Business Analytics Team, I created and updated SharePoint 2013 websites for each sector's quarterly metrics and Strategic Operating Objectives (SOO) that measured the performance of the company and are reported to sector presidents and our CEO. I also was a part of collaborations on large projects with teams that included people from various NGC locations and sectors across the nation. At the end of my internship, I presented a case study with other interns from Texas and California to a panel of directors and managers.During my time at NGC, I was able to update and organize the collaboration site for the Business Analytics team (in SharePoint 2013), support data collection and reporting of performance metrics of NGC, and I was able to learn more about database systems and the architecture that enables analytics capabilities.

Assisted field biologists with the preparation, planting, sampling, and pollination of corn plants. Supervised seasonal staff during corn pollination activities. Evaluated seasonal employees’ performance, making recommendations to full-time staff. Ensured quality, safety, and regulatory compliance were at the forefront at all times throughout season with colleagues and seasonal workers by leading daily group discussions with over 20 other employees. Collected and analyzed data from the summer to better understand and improve the pollination season process.

Organized programs for students in the Ashton Residence Hall at Indiana University to explore health and exercise. Proposed activities to student government such as a successful community-wide exercise program for over 400 students in the Ashton Residence Hall to encourage students to exercise in groups to build community and health. Worked with other Residence Hall Student Governments to plan and provide programs for multiple halls.
