I am a sophomore at Indiana University Bloomington. I am majoring in Hospitality and Event Management and also pursuing a minor in Business and Marketing. I have over two years of intensive work experience in the Hospitality Industry. My experience has taught me to adapt to changing situations and environments in a fast-paced hospitality setting and to handle conflicts or challenging situations diplomatically and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and positive outcomes. This has enhanced my understanding of the industry, positioning me as a prime candidate for this role. The courses I am taking and plan to take at the School of Public Health so far, have taught me important skills surrounding Hospitality Management, marketing, and business. For example, in Marketing Communication, I learned how to develop competitive marketing strategies to appeal to my specific audience. By completing this coursework, I am to develop the skills necessary to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the internship associated with this position.Aside from Indiana University, I have a positive and optimistic mindset I carry with me in my day to day life. I am deeply passionate about traveling. I seek to immerse myself in different cultures, discovering a unique story wherever I go.
