• Directed the negotiation, documentation and contract administration of all domestic and international agreements with the external customers of the IBM Microelectronics Division (“MD”), amounting to over $4 billion in annual revenue, and including the execution of over 1,000 contracts and related documents each year plus confidential disclosure agreements.• Led a team of 35 attorneys and contract professionals world wide, located in 13 locations in North America, Asia Pacific and Europe, with a budget of approximately $4 million annually.• Personally negotiated many of MD’s largest, most complex transactions (typically over $200 million) with major international companies (Ericsson, Nokia, Siemens, etc.) in Europe and Asia Pacific.• Consistently rated “above average” on annual performance reviews; recipient of numerous awards for outstanding contributions. • Position was eliminated as part of a general layoff at IBM in 2009.
• Led negotiations for major U.S. transactions for IBM Global Services (several larger than $1 billion), primarily in connection with information technology and business process outsourcing for Fortune 500 companies.• Directed negotiation/deal teams that included technical, financial, operations, sales/marketing and legal professionals.• Managed a group of negotiation and contract specialists collectively responsible for transactions valued at approximately $5 billion annually.

As a Senior Director, I:• Developed overall marketing strategy, promotional materials and organizational structure of ACOP’s corporate sponsorship program, which raised over $500 million from U.S. and foreign business.• Personally marketed and negotiated over $50 million in sponsorships with Fortune 500 companies, such as General Motors, BMW, Nissan, Texaco and International Paper, including supervision of outside counsel.
