Set policy and advocacy agenda for national non-profit with focus on survivor support for college students. Delivered training on Title IX issues.Worked with movement partners, state sexual and gender based violence coalitions, and elected officials to pass legislation aligned with organizational priorities at the state and federal level including successful Resolution to Prevent Sexual Violence and Recognize the Needs of Diverse Survivors in the 116th Senate.Developed and launched online campaign to encourage students and stakeholders to submit a comment on the proposed federal rule change for Title IX. Campaign resulted in over 6,000 unique comments through the online portal. Proposed rule received the most comments in Department of Education History.Collaborated with local organizations in Colorado to draft, testify on behalf of, and ultimately pass SB-007 (2019), enshrining protections for survivors in Title IX investigation process into Colorado state law.Drafted amendments for the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) for the 116th House and successfully worked with a Representative to pass drafted amendments on the House floor.

Worked with caseload of 25-30 court-involved youth ages 14-21.Regularly met with youth one-on-one to set goals and supported youth in reaching goals direct service support and life skills training, developed and taught life skills training curriculum.Accompanied youth to court appearances and medical appointments as support person.Provided trauma informed support for trans and queer youth in interpersonal relationships, education, family life, and sexual health.Maintained case files, entered case notes, implemented and collected data from assessment measurements, liaised with the Office of Children and Youth.

Legal intern with the Supervision to Aid Reentry (STAR) program. Met with recently released federal incarcerees to determine legal needs. Represented clients in traffic court hearings and assist with other legal matters. Attended bi-weekly reentry court hearings and team meetings. Came up with creative legal and non-legal solutions to meet the unique needs of this vulnerable population.

Taught a small group of young women at Kol Tzedek Synagogue. Planned and executed religious school curriculum for middle and high school students. Created and implemented unique class that centered around social justice work and community building. Lessons brought together the torah, current events and jewish values to give students well-rounded and rich religious education.

Legal intern at small, non-profit organization in Lynn, MA. Worked in family court division. Aided on SSI hearing, organized community resources, visited youth in placements, attended court hearings, aided in educational access issues. Answered legal questions on CLCM's national hotline.

Legal intern with the Montgomery County Public Defenders Office in Norristown, PA. Participated on projects such as participatory and holistic defense initiatives as well as interned with the juvenile department. Worked to find placements for juvenile offenders. Drafted motions, contacted social workers and case workers, liased with families, met with clients, attended court daily.

Managed a classroom of 12 three-year-olds. Implementied curriculum guided by Jewish values. Taught developmentally appropriate skills. Assisted in social and emotional scaffolding in student development.

Planned and executed religious school curriculum for group of seventh grade (Zayin) students. Units included Reconstructionism, the Holocaust, and Israel. Themes focused around personal Torah, lifecycle moments, holidays and rituals, and individual practice.
