-Co-founded the Social Bridging Project, a first-in-the-nation state initiative using voter engagement tools to reach vulnerable Californians by phone in order to connect them with life-saving government resources in 25 counties. -Orchestrated the launch of the Data Management, Training, and Bridger Engagement departments; Draftedinitial budget and strategic timeline, established technology and infrastructure needed to facilitate our remote phone bank program, recruited and onboarded staff members, developed training materials, and generated weekly reports for external partners.-Within 7 months, 592 volunteers from 13 partner organizations across the country made Disaster Readiness and COVID-19 Wellness Check-in calls for 10,283 hours.

Developed a Volunteer Management Handbook explaining the work flow, roles and responsibilities of onsite/offsite VC’s, training tools for volunteers, and our volunteer management system processes. • Promoted after a month from Offsite Volunteer Coordinator to Volunteer Manager; Oversaw a team of 4 Volunteer Coordinators (trained 2 new hires), Mail Chimp communications, gave weekly report to SDRRN Partners, built a trusted team of offsite volunteers to help with the vetting process, and filled in as necessary.• Coordinated with Shelter Operations Manager and Intake Processing to adjust volunteer management tools to reflect the changing needs of the shelter (e.g. jotform, waivers, signup.com). Maintained operational readiness by developing a process for on call shifts and staffing overflow shelter that reduced response time from several hours to 1 hour or less. • Worked with coalition partners to help engage volunteers for calls to action as needed; successfully advocated for the SD County Board of Supervisors to approve a new temporary shelter location.

Senior Community Centers is the leading provider of services to culturally diverse, low-income, at-risk seniors in downtown San Diego. Their mission is to end senior poverty and hunger through innovative solutions.• Scheduled, coordinated, and promoted outreach activities throughout San Diego County for SCC’s two-pronged approach to CalFresh and Advocacy Education.
