I’m a nimble designer in NYC who’s worked with big companies, start-ups, publishers, makers, and friends on projects that extend and celebrate people’s ability to create, connect, and collaborate.At Canopy, I joined the two co-founders (CEO & CTO) as their first design hire to create an entirely new micro-learning platform. I led the design from idea to launch in less than 12 months, growing it to 1000+ users in the first year. I also collaborated with the team to reduce churn from 12% to 3% with product roadmapping, new features, onboarding, pricing iterations, and an iOS app — as well as leading the rebrand of the company from “Know Your Team” to “Canopy”, which increased sign-ups by 3x.At eero (acquired by Amazon in 2019), I worked as the lead product designer developing relationships, processes, and design systems that drastically improved the speed and quality of product development. I grew the team from 1 to 5+ people and created a robust and collaborative culture of feedback, elevating communication and understanding of product design company-wide and helping grow the business to 1 million global customers with our easy-to-use iOS & Android apps and powerful B2B/B2B2C service dashboards.At IFTTT, I was the sole product designer for much of my time there, working directly with the CEO and across all the other teams. I helped prototype and strategise the Applet interface and design and develop a complete rebrand and redesign of the IFTTT web, iOS, and Android apps for millions of people, which won a Webby for best consumer app. I also led the design of the IFTTT API and Maker programs, helping 100s of global businesses build custom automated integrations.
