Championed the first high school collaboration classroom in Ontario. Authored documents for the Ministry of Education including GAINS literacy and Character Education documents. Spearheaded the International Literacy Coalition as Canadian lead. Helped to design and open two high schools in underserved communities. Trained staff, faculty and students as leadership team. Facilitated reading and character education programs including 72 visits across Ontario with adult learner Arnie Stewart. Served as literacy coach trainers for the county and literacy consultant for 16 schools. Trained 1,500 teachers and managed budgets of $42,000+.
