We can better use what we know to improve health and health care. Right now, knowledge is applied inconsistently which means missed opportunities to improve and innovate. I help decision-makers (policy and strategy) to navigate a path through what we currently know, applying different lenses to reframe longstanding problems, challenge long-held assumptions, or inform innovation spread and scale. As importantly, I help articulate what we don’t know, identifying knowledge gaps and inequities, to systematically inform knowledge generation through research, evaluation, analysis, or engagement. With over 30 years’ of experience supporting evidence-informed healthcare, areas of expertise include: • Enabling decision-makers to apply knowledge from research, practice, and experience• Translation of complex research into actionable insights to inform strategy and policy• Synthesising research and practice-derived evidence to answer topical questions• Identifying relevant evidence through systematic searching• Appraising evidence to assess quality and transferability
