I manage and conduct data collection for research projects relating to climate change adaptation and best management practices for orchard crops in the Sacramento Valley.I also work with farm advisors to develop and execute our grower- and industry-facing communication strategy about our research progress and outcomes including designing and executing our communication calendar, creating, formatting and posting blog and twitter posts, and supporting field days and workshops.

As a part of research conducted under the CDFA Healthy Soils Program, I collected and analyzed greenhouse gas emissions on sites implementing healthy soils practices in Northern California (GRACEnet protocol). I also collected and analyzed soil samples from field sites (Costech). I also hired, coordinated and managed project interns to assist with project tasks.

I conducted over 30 primary interviews in Spanish with extensionists, producers, and University of San Carlos faculty relating to agricultural value chains and extension practices in Guatemala in addition to conducting desk research on the same topic.I designed the framework and content for a 5-day training module about agricultural value chains development for Guatemalan extension practitioners. I facilitated the course for over 150 Guatemalan extension professionals over three iterations of the module.

I collected and analyzed data for field research trials on heirloom tomato nitrogen management and heirloom tomato grafting. I worked with the research and extension team to create a video, flyer, and other extension materials to communicate research results to farmers and other industry professionals.

I worked with the administration at Delhi Public School, Bathinda to establish a teaching garden on school grounds where I then taught organic kitchen garden and biology classes to 10th and 12th grade students.I interviewing and documenting the stories of local women involved in organic kitchen garden projectsFinally, I worked with local promoters and organization filed staff to implement a system to encourage the use of best practices in organic kitchen gardens.

I worked with Harvest Craft staff and Auburn University collaborators to design an aquaponics system for a rehabilitation center for trafficked women in Cambodia. I conducted market research in Kampong Cham to assess the profitability of the system. I consulted for the Harvest Craft team regarding best practices for the design of a small scale agroforestry system for the center.

I worked with the aquaponics team to develop and maintain a working commercial and research aquaponics system at Auburn University's Center for Aquatic resource management. This involved system maintenance for both tilapia and cucumber production, harvesting, and data collection.

I assisted with field and laboratory research for nutrient- and pest management related research projects including root scanning and soil nutrient analyses.

I managed a large vegetable garden from greenhouse seeding through harvest including transplant care, transplanting, fertigation, pest management, and harvest. I coordinated volunteers to assist with plant maintenance, harvest, and crop delivery.
