• Work independently performing nuclear stress tests and MUGA scans • Quality control of gamma camera, dose calibrator, and well counter• Proper handling, administration, and recording of radiopharmaceuticals to satisfy state and facility regulations while adhering to ALARA• Establish IV access for patients; scan patient under GE Ventri while minimizing motion• Process image using knowledge of the program, anatomy of the heart, and attenuation factors• Based on processing information, alert Doctor of any high risk patients

• QA of Siemens/GE camera using CT, PET, and offset phantoms• QA of dose calibrator, well counter, and glucometer• Proper handling, administration, and recording of radiopharmaceuticals to satisfy state and facility regulations while adhering to ALARA• Explain procedure and gain consent from patient; record patient history and check for contraindications; set up IV access and take blood glucose reading; scan patient according to correct protocol• Check for any artifacts or motion; create CD copy for patient; complete paperwork and process PACS/Radii/IRIS• Troubleshoot issues ranging from camera errors, software failures, and truck malfunctions; all issues must be taken care of promptly while working with service reps and caring for patients
