I provide technical and people leadership for the Product Engineering Team. I manage a team of software engineers, performing weekly 1:1s, quarterly performance reviews, team meetings and mentorship. I am also providing support as the Scrum Master facilitating planning and retrospective ceremonies.Additional contributions include:• implementing scrum framework• establishing engineering ladder• introducing estimations• re-working unit testing/ code coverage

- Write maintainable and semantic HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript- Use frameworks and libraries including Vue, Polymer, jQuery, Sass, D3js to build scalable and responsive layouts- Work remotely for a full agile team and environment using Atlassian products and deploying to AWS- Prototype and test for cross browser compatibility

Projects included : 
In-house CRM tool CIS: I developed a CRM that interfaced with our education software, Quickbooks and kept track of customer/dealer data. This allows in-house and dealers to login and see their territories, customers and account status. Technologies used include Java, SQLServer, Struts.ReadingPlus Hosted: I configured f5 load balancers and session management and handled the move of an on site application to a data center fault tolerant application. I also developed load testing software.ReadingPlus LAN: I converted the server side Apache Tomcat/ Java Applet/ SQLServer application to a Apache/Firebird application that could be installed locally. This included a caching server for applets, so we could distribute jars to local installations for upgrades.Support Desk: I managed and created the support desk for Reading Plus. At this time I had to manage the implementation of the application to all schools in Miami Dade county and our other domestic/International customers.ReadingPlus Visagraph : Eyetracking hardware/software. I managed the migration from an overseas vendor to a local manufacturer. This included validation and certification of the hardware and managing the development of the analysis software.I built the corporate website and implementation software. Technologies included PHP, Concrete5, SQLServer, MySQL.Support/ Conferences: During this period I was primary support for all large sales and gave many technical demonstrations of our software and presented at dealer conferences.

I developed education Adobe Flash games for the education market. These games were similar to brain training games, geared toward math, vocabulary and spelling. I also created software to produce dynamic pdf worksheets in perl.

Projects included:
REALM Integration Hub: A Java based distributed server and API to facilitating seamless data exchange between legacy products and e-commerce offerings.REALMx: service that enables the exchange of real-time data between property management systems and financial systems using xml. REALMCash: Java applet rent collection and invoice clearinghouse build for real estate property owners and managers. I built the unit testing, update the UI and worked on SQL streamlining. Technologies used include Sun servers running IPlanet web servers, BEA Weblogic servers and Oracle 8.I also worked on other projects including the Realm Cash File Exchange and the corporate website.

Mobile pen-based Clinical System : designed for the collection of patient information for 1500 visiting nurses. Technologies used includedVisual Basic 5/ Windows 95/ Access, AIX Unix. Other projects included the Care-centric Initiative, the Pen Tele-medicine prototype and working on the corporate website.
