As far as my Inbound controller experience in N Brown is concerned, my core responsibilities are using Mainframe to run Highbay options for Replenishment, changing parameters based on planned inputs, outputs and Highbay fill level. Requesting adequate volumes from Highbay, using Dematic and PSB to monitor movement and balance staff accordingly across floors. Monitoring PSB Selektron, Dematic visualization and CCTV’s cameras to recognize and indicate faults and manage workflow. Reporting and recording mechanical, IT or operational issues, creating agilities and enquiring updates. Generating reports on Teradata ‘Trays not on PSB’, ‘Trays not on Mainframe’, PSB Highbay compares and clearing them daily. I also deal with aged reports on Power BI, queries of Partnership and IST departments, request missing boxes from the Highbay and create reports for engineers. I monitor Receiving and Returns departments using PSB screen, Dematic and Matflo RCS to indicate faults. My main tasks as an Outbound controller are setting the Baseline, adding and sequencing Packing batches accordingly to volumes, workforce and trailers’ schedule. I also monitor and manage Picking workflow, Matflo, PSB, Scada, CWS, Dematic and Multishuttle to ensure that all the targets and deadlines are being met. My role involves releasing batches from Multishuttle, tipping, monitoring Tote Buffer, BCS and CWS and Scada Sorters’ screens, making sure that each batch is being placed within the timeframe and with minimum missing items. Managing placing staff, monitoring packing performance on PCS, updating Baseline with completion times. Filling in daily intakes and outputs reports in order to collect, compare the data and set forecasts. I also manage single orders Bagging Machine (Sipots) by releasing and ending batches, monitoring performance and creating Production Reports. I work closely with team leaders and managers to ensure that the targets are being achieved in cost-effective manner.

Main duties of my admin’s job role involved generating picking lists for stores and monitoringpicking process. Printing manifests and barcode labels for deliveries to prepare the stock for further refurbishment. I was dealing with internal transport and TNT trailers, preparing stock to be dispatched, collecting data and updating reports. I used Java software to keep track on put-away records, key in employees’ figures and mark any stock discrepancies. My responsibilities also included creating Error Logs Reports, Warehouse Daily Reports of the outputs, monitoring put-away process and comparing the data after it was completed to ensure that the stock was placed correctly and within deadlines.
