I oversaw 5 UNITS of <50 PEOPLE (Programming and Evaluation, Procedures and Appeals, Monitoring, Information and Promotion, Technical Assistance) by managing allocated resources, including work planning, delegating tasks, supporting, motivating, as well as driving a positive and communicative atmosphere, building relationships with colleagues across all levels of an organization.Our Team prepared, implemented and managed the Regional Operational Programme for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, financed by the European Union (ERDF). The main goal of the Program is an improvement in the quality of life of inhabitants of Lower Silesia and an increase in the region’s competitiveness while respecting principles of sustainable development.The program implemented projects related to enterprises and innovation, information society, transport, environment and ecology, energy, tourism and culture, education, health and urban/cities development.I was responsible for the coordination of the following tasks:- managing PROJECTS co-financed from EU Funds with a budget of approx. 5 mln EUR per year (planning, identifying risks, executing, analyzing according to milestones, deadlines and budgets),- setting up procedures, implementing PROCESS improvement to reduce execution time and comply with regulations,- processing of PUBLIC PROCUREMENT,- creating and developing the Programme,- taking an active part in court proceedings and administrative APPEALS (project appraisal, repayment), about 40 cases a month,- implementing the Programme's PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES like the annual conferences (ca. 500 participants) and promotional campaign,- organizing and conducting TRAINING for stakeholders (I have created an innovative public procurement training program using Critical Thinking Tools),- conducting the EU project selection procedure,- carrying out Program EVALUATIONS,- MONITORING and preparing reports,- preparing statements of EXPENDITURE and running the Programme's budget.
