At Lakeshore I provide customer service to all guests either in store or on the phone. I aid with helping parents and teachers find appropriate learning materials for their child based upon individual need and preference. I participate in outreach activities by traveling to symposiums and conferences in state to provide aid and assistance to different communities. I am the lead presenter for doing crafts with kids every Saturday at the store as well.

As a supervisor, I work as part of a 4 person management team to recruit and train new sales associates and build service standards to surpass customer service expectations, and build revenue. I work closely with my team to build a unique relationship with guests by recommending school and home use of products dependent on their individual needs. Additionally, I work to drive sales and increase revenue by tracking store KPI numbers to maximize sales and opportunities. As a supervisor, I am also tasked with maintaining the visual presentation of product and visuals to maintain company expectations, and keep in constant communication with the Home Office to ensure the accurate execution of promotions.

I work with the Volunteer Management Team at the Phoenix Zoo. I help with the on-boarding process of the new adult and teen volunteers as well as engage with and manage the existing volunteers. I have a focus for the ACNC's (Arizona Center for Nature Conservation) events where I help recruit internal and external volunteers and help facilitate and direct them during events.

I temporarily filled in as the Office Manager for the ALS Association Arizona Chapter. I performed various administrative tasks such as collecting, documenting, and reporting donations made by cash, check, or card. I compiled deposits into deposit reports and maintained and updated the Salsa CRM, and Convio systems. As part of my responsibilities, I ran reports and printed and sent out various letters to the donors and the recipients when appropriate. Additionally, I provided support to the department heads and completed various projects for the Bite Nite Fundraising Gala in Phoenix and Tucson, the Walk to Defeat ALS Phoenix, and social connections with the patients. I began as a volunteer and then was a temporary employee for the Association while they worked to fill the full time position when I had to return to school.
